  Buell Electric installed the electric on my dock, including lights, outlet, and connection to a boat lift. They used a subcontractor for the underground cabling and when I asked if they could run water at the same time Buell provided me the contractor's information so that I could connect with him and get a quote. Buell coordinated the timing of the subcontractor and then Odin and David came out the following day to make all of the connections. Both Odin and David did excellent work and were happy to answer any questions that I had. They took the time to explain what they were doing as well. The work was excellent (look at how organized the wiring is) and they were extremely professional. I would highly recommend them for dock electrical work.

  Just had Buell electric out to wire and install my boat lift controller along with dock lights. Oden and his team were quick and extremely helpful. They did an excellent job, keeping in mind how to make things look good and be functional. I would recommend them to anyone who’s looking for the cleanest looking and most professional install. I will use them for anything electrical in the future.

  I asked for an estimate to change from fuses to a panel box. They never said I would be charged for an estimate. They came to the property and was there briefly, doing no work. Their bid was higher than all the other electricians that gave estimates. After I did not hire them, they billed me $195. I will NOT pay that bill. By the way, no other electrician I had out there charged anything. BEWARE

  Mr. and Mrs. Ladd, There is obviously great confusion with regard to the turn of events as you described. Our office and phone logs reveal a much different story. You were not invoiced for a proposal. Our technician Shaun Jones made two separate trips to your home. The first on January 1st to look at your panel. Sean provided you a quote for a complete service change including a new ground system, and all Arc fault and GFI Breakers due to your concern of dated cloth wiring in the home. You indicated you could not afford to rewire the home so this was an excellent choice and substitute remedy. Two days later, January 3rd you called and indicated that a circuit in your home was not working. Shaun first explained that there is a $195 diagnostic charge which would be applied to any repair should it be a minor item. Mrs. Ladd agreed via phone so Shaun returned. In fact it was a minor repair - a broken outlet and an interrupted circuit due to disconnected wiring in an outlet box. Shaun made this repair and forwarded the $195 invoice to you accordingly. You have forgotten that Shaun made the repair and you have confused this $195 charge with the first trip that he made where he provided you a proposal to rebuild your service. This was NOT a charge to provide a quote. You and your wife separately contacted our office and screamed at our receptionist making the claim that we were charging you for a quote that you had not agreed to. Mr. Ladd, you then contacted Shawn and began screaming at him and told him to shut up repeatedly. I was witness to one of these three phone conversations. I do not appreciate you leveling such allegations at my company and then not even allowing either of my two employees a moment to try to explain your misunderstanding. No one earned such rude behavior. We have already reversed the $195 charge. Therefore you received the repair free of charge. Note by the way that Shawn Jones has hundreds of five star reviews on Google, Angie's List and HomeAdvisor. He has been with us for over 10 years and would never behave in the manner that you described. I request that you remove your most unfair and negative Google post.
