Working with First Energy is the worst experience I have had in a long time. The customer service is absolutely horrible. You can tell that the representatives are under paid and could careless about providing good customers service or thinking outside the box. I lost my wallet and place a credit freeze on my credit, which basically means no one could pull any credit worthiness or history on me, without my permission. They tried pulling my credit, and required me to pay a deposit. I replied with an email explaining the situation and asked that they notify me prior to attempting to pull my credit again. The next day, they again try to pull my credit and sent me an email. I once again explained the situation and and told them I would call. When I call…everything went down hill. I spoke to David (54663) who attempted to act knowledgeable of a credit freeze, but the more he talked, the more ignorant he sounded. I asked to speak to a supervisor, so he put me on hold, and of course came back say his supervisor agreed with him and I should to forget the fact that my credit score is 795 and pay the deposit… completely useless. I again asked to speak to the supervisor and was told I would have to agree to pay the deposit before I could speak to the supervisor. I was floored. The next day I receive another email which stated, base on my credit worthiness, I am required to pay a deposit. So basically, they tried to run my credit a third time. Wow…unbelievable. I will definitely be evaluating my complaint and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I am still in disbelief.

Potomac edition overcharge people and the meter never work properly. Instead of sending me Incorrect bill please make sure your check on the meter first.
