  Mike was extremely responsive and very professional. Needed a new light fixture installed. He was responsive, on time, did great work, cleaned up and was efficient. Will definitely look to use him in the future.

  Called mike about whole house generator (which he installed a few years earlier and did a nice job). Had a power outage and generator wasn’t running at full capacity,( stove, dryer, some outlets weren’t working) he stopped in as he was on his way past my house to another job.He checked transfer on outside and breaker panel inside and concluded I needed new transfer (switch or case whatever) said he would have to order and left. He was there for probably 15 to 20 minutes.5 minutes after he left he called me told me how to reset ( like resetting a kicked breaker) transfer switch! All was working now! He all but said please to stop in and check my problem as like I said he was going by my house anyway, he could have told me to try and reset then the way he did after he was already at my house, but then he wouldn’t have been able to bill me for $205 dollars. Only someone who knows generators or owns one and has reset would know what the tool attached to inside cover is for and where to insert it and literally just lift up a couple times to reset. I consider this nothing but greed, and would not recommend Hurley Electric.He seemed to forget about the money he made installing my generator and taking care of a return customer!

  Thank you you for the review Rich. We are sorry you feel this way. We could never instruct an unlicensed individual how to work on electrical over the phone. Unfortunately you cancelled your service contract years prior to perform the service yourself, so we had to charge you. No matter how fast or slow, we solved the problem, restored your power and should be paid accordingly. We discounted you $45 for being a returning customer. We have other non generator customers on your street that were without power for 19 hours that day Dec. 21. Thank you and good luck to you in the future, we are always here if you need anything.

  My wife and I own an old building and wanted to separate the electric between top and bottom floor. Several Electricians looked at the job but wouldn't do the work or said it would be MONTHS before they could start. We called Mike and he came and looked at the job and said he could complete the job in 1 week or less. It took 3 days and the work was done. It looks great and everything is working well. We have other rental properties and will be using Hurley electric any time we need electric work done.
