5-star rating is Rigged - Not a 5-star establishment I had scheduled an appointment to have minor electric work done at our home 3 weeks in advance. When the economy is good, trades tend to be booked far out in advance, hence the reason I scheduled early. The day of my appointment, I receive a call from someone at Mr. Electric (5 minutes after the scheduled time) canceling my appointment. "Someone called in sick." Understandable. We rescheduled for two days later (which is today). Once again, I receive a call literally 5 minutes after the scheduled time canceling again. This after scheduling 3 weeks in advance. Needless to day, this time I am frustrated. Not only did these folks not offer to reschedule, they bailed all together. The second time with the exact same excuse was just simply odd. Bottom Line: I have seen a few 5 star reviews of Mr. Electric in Grand Haven. This was the reason I had called them in the first place. This is Not a 5-Star establishment by any stretch. Canceling twice after the scheduled time ( meaning you likely took that morning off work twice now) with no offer of a solution is in no way a 5-Star establishment. I would pick a different Electrician before setting an appointment.

When it comes to highly skilled trades and professionals I always seek out those who are licensed, bonded, and insured. I had a small electrical job and the business I used before was busy and could not get to the job for a while. I found Mr. Electric on the internet and gave them a call. That was a good decision. The person who helped me is named Evan. He is great. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. And the electrician named Bob who did the job is top notch. Again, very friendly, quick, and reassuring. And the price was right. I have found a new company for my future electrical needs.
