  I scheduled an appointment through my home warranty company, the technician came to the house on-time, repaired the issue, and even recommended a repair that would prevent the issue from re-occurring. I have called them again for a service call without the home warranty coverage policy applying.

  Scammers! Hands down worst customer service I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Terrible company, horrible techs, horrible receptionist. Lied about my home warranty coverage, every word was a lie! STAY AWAY!!! After reading the other reviews, I wanted to add that I had a similar experience. They were contracted out by my home warranty company and just like another person, I was told that the ceiling fan was covered under my plan by the snippy lady who answered the phone. She even told me to buy a ceiling fan, because the company would only cover a builders grade fan (the warranty co told me this was a lie) so, I bought a fan . The rude individual, yes David, took one look at the fan and said: this is not covered. When I assured him that I specifically explained what was wrong, he condescendingly made up some excuse and acted as though I was incapable of understanding. He then calls dispatch in front of me and proceeds to talk about me as though I did not exist let alone understand. He said "yes, I told her we don't diagnose over the phone"- that's when I told him: I was not asking for a diagnosis, I know exactly what the problem is, I was simply asking if it was covered so as not to be charged for nothing. Then he steps outside to "call the warranty company to check" and takes off! Just like that!! I called the warranty company myself and they were appalled! Patriot had lied and stollen from us both!!!

  As with the previous review, The Patriot technician came out to evaluate our ceiling fan on behalf of our home warranty company. This has been an ongoing problem for two months. The initial electrical company sent a tech and then did not show up. The second company called, and did not show up. Patriot was not clear about what they would or would not do. When I talked to the technician while he was on his way to my home he said he would only replace the fan unit and not the extension rod that came with it which was not what our understanding was. When he came to the door I told him I was upset, not at him but at the situation. Without even looking at the fan he told me he would not work with an upset customer, turned around, and walked out. Is this a normal way a customer is treated here in the Memphis area? This is not the first time we have had contractor and service issues since moving from Oregon two years ago. Do not use this company!!
