  I hired Shanahan Building and Remodeling to build a composite deck and patio with retaining wall. He did a great job and went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with the results. I would recommend Chris as a trustworthy and knowledgeable contractor. Looking forward to working with him on finishing the basement.

  We used Chris to remodel our kitchen. We couldn't be more pleased! He took down a wall and hand built a gorgeous Walnut island with lots of storage. There was an engineering feet involved to support a large piece of granite in a seating portion of the island. He succeeded in spades. I could, and have danced on that overhang. Chris was fantastic during the entire process. His communication with us was great. His crew showed up when he said they would. There was close attention to detail and clean up during the many phases of the project. We highly recommend this great guy and consummate professional.

  Chris has helped with several building projects at our house including putting a new upper deck to replace the existing one that was leaking into our porch. He also helped extend our garage. He is very experienced and knowledgeable with older homes and new builds and permits. He uses quality materials that will last and he is reliable- gets the job done when he says he is going to. Highly recommend!
