If I could give less than 1 star I would. We just purchased a house and had to have the heat turned on, mind you we have radiator heating. They arrived Wednesday and spent ALL DAY on the furnace to fix an issue that they said was “small”. They then said that a part needed to be ordered to complete the work and that they would come back tomorrow. No one came the following day despite confirming with the receptionist when we called the night before. After speaking with the receptionist she confirmed someone would be out the following day (Friday) to complete the work. Again no one ever showed. When we called to see what went wrong they had no record of a plumber being scheduled to arrive at our house. This is beyond unprofessional, and so unorganized!! We have a one year old! It’s suppose to drop to 30 degrees tonight and we are living off of heaters. A situation like this should call for emergency services and they should have come out to complete the work, or atleast communicate with us when the “parts” needed would be in.

My AC recently went out, in the middle of a heatwave. By the time I had my appointment with Summers Quality Services, I had already gotten a few estimates, knew what was wrong (the compressor died) and felt like I had a ballpark idea of what needed to happen and what I needed to pay. To be fully balanced in this review, if there are any areas of improvement with Summers Quality Services, it's their promptness and that admin needs a bit of an upgrade. After being told the technician would be out by 10am at the latest, he was definitely a solid 40 mins late. But, I feel Summers Quality Services' strengths definitely outweigh their challenges. The technician, Rich, explored the most cost effective and smallest repairs thoroughly first, and actually did NOT give me an answer right there, instead saying he needed to give the information to the owner to research a bit more. Later on, John, the owner, called me directly and explained that they needed to replace the whole unit. They ordered one quickly and even offered to come out to my place ON A SUNDAY, at NO EXTRA CHARGE. John said they were booked three weeks in advance, but it was a pretty simple job (3 hrs) and he knew it was hot out, so he was willing to do it. THAT is customer service, folks. John and another technician came out on Sunday and were prompt (fair is fair) and did a thorough and efficient job removing the old unit and installing the new one. They explained everything they were doing and even programmed my thermostat for me. And on top of this stellar customer service, Summers offered the fairest price by far (HALF what the first company quoted me.) I would highly recommend Summers Quality Services. They are courteous, fair, trustworthy, and really good at what they do.
