  Bill Payne is a con man and a crook. He swindled the McMasters of Nokesville out of thousands of dollars in unpaid lease/rent fees and he's doing the same to another property owner right now in Catlett, VA under the guise of Vintage Valley Sport Horses. Furthermore, he was often seen by myself and others engaged in phone calls, speaking in a raised tone that bordered on shouting. On some occasions, while I was witness only to one side of the conversations, it was evident to me the topic of discussion was unpaid monies owed by Payne to another party. On other occasions the clear impression left on me was that Payne was intimidating another party to pay him money. I have also witnessed first hand heated arguments between Payne and multiple other people, individually and on separate occasions, and where Payne was attempting to intimidate the other party with threats to main their horse or their person. Nice guy? To your face, perhaps. Just don't turn your back.
