I ordered the install of Generac standby system from this company in October 2021 and provided a $2000 deposit to secure an installation date in November. I called to follow up on the order and installation in January after I had not heard from them. Jim Norman (apparently the owner) provided me an updated stating the supply chain delays has also reached his company. I asked for the refund of my deposit. He told me he would but the check in the mail that day. I have called his office two weeks in a row inquiring about my refund and I have yet to receive it. Each time I call, I get the run around and the exact same response, the check will be in the mail today. I even sent an email confirmation to him and his admin/accounts receivable last Friday (31 Jan 22) still no response or check. I called again today (1 Feb 22) to follow-up on the refund, the Accounts Receivable Clerk, Delilah Daniel, catches an attitude and confirms the wrong mailing address then says the check is in the mail. I asked if she say when I can expect to receive it? She says I don’t know when the postmaster puts it in the mail. I advise anyone to try another company. The days are long gone where you have honest people on the other end of the call. Please avoid my mistake if you can.

We had a solar system installed on our home as part of the Solarize Fairbanks campaign and ABS was selected as the contractor. As part of this group buy we were promised a discount and rebate on system installation. We have yet to receive our contracted rebate as well as many others (20+ homes) that were part of the campaign. They are the absolute worst communicators when it comes to delays, scheduling, and problems. They don't return phone calls or emails until weeks later, only to give excuses. Save your time, money, and patience and go somewhere else!

I purchased a home in August and the previous owner had a contract to install a solar system. I decided to pay him what he had paid to have them installed instead of canceling the contract. They installed them and it took gvea about 2 weeks to certify it, not an issue. The system works, the issue is the mess it made running the power lines. I have asked multiple times over the last month when they are going to fill in the holes at the house and fix the driveway. They continued to say they are going to get to it. Well it's about to snow, so I ended up going to get 2 truck loads of gravel to do it myself. The hole is filled, but I'm still going to have to get a bobcat next year to level it all out. At the end of the day the solar works, but they failed terribly to clean up the mess they made. Kind of regret doing it.
