Worked with Bob through my home warranty to get a bunch of switches and dimmers fixed as this is our first year in this older home. He was fantastic to work with, super friendly and helpful and completed everything needed. He even worked with the home warranty to make sure something specific was covered for me. I'm not sure about these other reviews which are from years ago but I had a fantastic experience and will be using Bob and Affordable Code Electric again when needed!

I filed a claim with my home warranty company about a broken attic fan. They directed my claim to Affordable Code Electric. I scheduled the appointment with them for a two hour window. No electrician showed up during that window, and no call. Showed up 30 minutes past the window time frame. The electrician was in my house less than 5 minutes total. All he did was get the model number and said “the warranty company will have to replace it, I will work with them.” Never attempted to even diagnose or repair the problem. Paid my deductible (which I shouldn’t have). A week goes by and I have to call twice just trying to get an update without receiving any update. Then my home warranty company calls and tells me my claim is denied. So now I am out $100, and still have a broken attic fan. This company is a scam, stay away.

Consider yourself warned, do not do business with this company. They were recommended through my home warranty program. Over the course of 3 visits I REPEATEDLY requested a receipt for the work preformed. The electrician, "Bob" insisted "we don't do that. I asked "them" and they said we don't do that." I said what company doesn't provide a complete work order when they've completed a job? He insist "we only work with the warranty company you must get it from them." To which he always seemed to be "late for another job" when I asked questions. I told him the warranty company says it's for you to provide the order of work completed. I left messages for the office to call, no return call and no full work order receipt. This guy provided a receipt that stated "for deductible" WHAT A JOKE. WHAT WORK WAS COMPLETED IN MY HOME? (I know the answer, but don't have any documentation to back up what they did.) WHAT COMPANY DOESN'T PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION OF WORK PREFORMED? Save yourself the hassle find another company.
