  We were selling our home. Called Affordable Electric which was from a property manager recommendation. I called the number and Joe answered. He said he’d be at my house the next day at 9:30 am. Called him at 12:00 and asked if he was coming. He stated yes. He arrived the next day at 8:30 pm. He had quite the list of excuses. Said he needed to come back the next day so he could access the job because it was late and dark. 2 days later I called him to see why he didn’t come by at 9:00 as promised the day before. He came by at 5:30 pm to tell me what supplies we needed to buy for him to complete 1 GFI plug, 6 flush mount outlet boxes which the wire was already coming out the wall but needed to be in the box so the connection was safe where the upper cabinet light attached. Tighten a nut in the breaker box that the main line came in. Because of his no communication, constant no show, leaving my job for many of excuses at hours at a time this took him 7 days and $840.00. I believe we were screwed! We needed this done ASAP for closing on our home we were selling. Beware! Don’t call! Also, needed his invoice so the final inspection could be done and that was like pulling teeth. He said he had a office staff but he’s the one who had to leave the job to create the invoice. No staff no office. Very sketchy beware and call someone with a following and good reputation.

  Joe was responsive when it came to getting paid, but have been trying to get a simple invoice from them for over a week. Not a crazy request, but I've called daily and been promised it was going to be sent. Another morning and no invoice in my inbox. Not sure what kind of shady business this is, but simple business tasks such as sending invoices are not a priority for this 'company'. There was mention of 'people in the office', but the only person to ever answer is Joe, so don't believe that there is anyone else. If you want someone to come out in an emergency this is the person, if you want professionalism look elsewhere.

  Saturday night 8pm panel fire. No power to property. Called Joe who answered right away. By midnight, panel replaced with added extra fire protection and power back on. Thank you!!
