  I had a fantastic experience with AJ Long Electric. My home warranty company scheduled the appointment, and Mackenzie from AJ Long called shortly after to touch base. She was able to adjust the time window for the service so it was more convenient for me, and she made sure to assign an electrician who was vaccinated and would be wearing a mask, per my request. I talked to her again on the day of the appointment for a better ETA, which she provided. Mackenzie was friendly, professional, and very efficient. Josh the electrician was great. He is friendly and relaxed, and I was comfortable having him in my house. He addressed the reason for the appointment and identified the problem very quickly. He resolved it quickly, as well. Josh is a knowledgeable professional. He made sure everything was back in working order before he left. I feel that I lucked out getting hooked up with AJ Long Electric, and I will definitely use them again. Thank you Mackenzie and Josh!

  We had AJ Long install two chandeliers in our home. I was able to get a consultation and appointment for the work very quickly. The fixtures were both heavy with many crystal pieces. The electricians were on time and very friendly. They involved us in deciding exactly where and how to mount the fixtures to our specifications. They were very accurate and professional while working. The lights were hung perfectly with everything was cleaned up and left in order. The whole job was done in one day. I would definitely recommend the company for work and would call them back myself for future work as needed.

  In 22 years of real estate brokerage I have had 2 reliable/excellent electricians serving electrical work needs for my property management division that I have lost through natural attrition, i.e., retirement. Recently losing the second I am in the unenviable process of finding a competent successor. AJ Long Electric is the second attempt in my search in the past two month’s. AJLE estimator Josh was articulate and organized surveying a project and prepared a professional proposal that I chose over 2 other electrical contractors at $4200.00. AJLE electricians Bo, Ted and Jeremy on the job performed high quality work. They were well organized and highly focussed for a full day of work requiring 2 call back dates because of material availability challenges. But, as good as the estimator and electricians were, by comparison, the AJLE office was awful in my experience. In my opinion it is in shambles, especially with respect to communications and the reason I am moving on. Though Josh talked-the-talk the office stumbled at walking-the-walk. Five stars for the electricians, 1 star for the office, yields 3 stars overall in my judgement. Moving on.
