The crews that have worked on my house on several occasions have been friendly, professional, and totally trustworthy. They installed a new 200 amp panel, checked out the existing wiring in the older house I had purchased, and installed additional plugs/switches. They work in a timely manner at a price that is fair. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I have used All American Electric a few times before and was always satisfied. Recently, I had an issue at a rental property and called them out to take a look. They came out multiple times, once with a team of four electricians, and couldn't figure out the problem--the co-ax cable from the internet and Dish Network were carrying 120 volts and shocking people. All American blamed the Dish box, but when it was plugged into a different outlet there was no problem. They left without fixing the issue, and I paid them $280, thinking it was fixed. Then my tenant was shocked again. i called back, they sent a team, still no fix. They blamed the Dish Network box. I had Dish out, and we plugged the Dish into another outlet... no voltage. So the outlet must have been the issue. When I called yesterday to tell them it still wasn't fixed and that I had a theory, they said they could't do anything else for me--it was" beyond their ability to help". I understood their frustration, having been out multiple times, but I needed to have the unit fixed. Even if that meant re-wiring the whole house. I asked if All American wanted me to call back to explain what the fix was once I had another electrician out... they said no and hung up. I got lucky, and another electrician, Garber Electric, was able to come out this morning. They started by talking with me, testing a few things, and then pulling the outlet apart. They instantly found that it was old wiring that wasn't properly grounded (despite the fact that the tester reading said all was well), and they rewired the outlet. Problem solved in under an hour. Overall, I am just disappointed with the negligence and poor customer service at All American. The fact that they were willing to leave the home as it was (multiple times), even after the coax was still shocking people and clearly carrying voltage is terrifying--It was carrying 119 volts. They must have never even pulled the outlet apart to check the wiring, but instead trusted a faulty reading on a circuit tester even when there was clearly a high voltage reading on the low volt co-ax cable. I was understanding when they said it was beyond their skill, but the fact that they were uninterested in hearing the solution afterwards tells me they don't care much about improving the business or for their customer's safety. It ended up being a pretty simple fix. A fix that they would have found on the first trip out had they been diligent and taken a little care to understand why they were getting contradictory results from their tools. It was old knob and tube wiring that wasn't grounded properly--that was it.
