I chose All Star Electric after inquiring several residential electrical contractors. Bob arrived on time and did a splendid job. I got a quick response and call back after the installation to answer a question I forgot to ask during the installation.

I needed a fan repair and could NOT get Hunter Fans to recommend a repair company ... so strange, I tried multiple times. Anyway, I called All Star Electric and immediately talked with a person (Brooke) who was extremely helpful with a convenient repair time and identifying the replacement part so it could be a one visit repair. A technician named Bob came out who could not have been more professional and a first rate trouble shooter. The price was fair and matched the quote given despite complications that had to do with Hunter Fans and out of the control of All Star Electric. I will use them again if I can get Bob ... ask for him!! Vr

Don’t do business with these guys they just price gouge, they have a special and when the time comes that special will turn into double the price, I scheduled an appointment with this company they sent me an email of what I needed to have and they called me and verbally needed but left out the most important part do you have an attic to get to the lights? I called them and let them know the email they sent and the phone call they made to me didn’t state that I needed an attic and he said WELL IT CLEARLY STATES THAT ON OUR WEBSITE,Adain Biscaino was very rude and unprofessional if it was clearly stated why did he make it a point to email me and call me to let me know what I need but exclude the most important part, they do that so you have no other choice but to go through there ridiculous price gouge. DONT USE THESE GUYS !!

I'm sorry that you had a less than expected experience. However to be fair, the price you saw for the "4 recessed lighting installation" special on our website says all the lights must be in the same room, the ceiling height must be 12' or less, and there must be attic access in order for that special price to be valid (see the webpage at https://www.allstarelectric-sa.com/electrical-offers/recessed-lighting-special/). We try to remove any confusion with those limitations listed on the website special. When we spoke over the phone, you said you wanted 8-12 lights installed. When we got to your home, you wanted only 3 lights installed, but you had high ceilings and no attic access. The amount of labor required when there is no attic is greatly increased and therefore costs more per fixture. Also it often requires sheetrock cuts and repairs to complete the installation. Before we began any work at your home, we let you know the price would be increased due to the conditions at your home. At that point you called our office and told Adan that if we didn't give you the price listed on our website special, you were going to write a negative review. I'm sorry if he didn't respond to your threat in the manner in which you had hoped, but he is not authorized to change our pricing. Adan is always very professional with everyone he speaks with though, so I'm not sure of the claim to the contrary. Again we are sorry the experience was less than expected.
