  I have an electrical outlet outside that I was using yesterday for Christmas decorations. I plugged a GFCI extension in the outside outlet, and immediately the breaker tripped. I wasn't able to reset the breaker. It would keep going back in the tripped position. I called American Electric for help. The electrician asked me to send pictures of the outlet and breaker. He than explained to me that I had a GFCI breaker. That I didn't need the GFCI extension. He also told me how to reset my breaker. He didn't take advantage of my lack of knowledge. Which tells me that this company has integrity and honest. It also saved me a service call fee. I have had their electrical service before for outside lights and security system. They are very friendly, professional, and good service they provide. I would highly recommend American Electric.

  Well...twice were told that they would be out on that day!! No Call No Show both times!! I had to call them to see when or if they were going to come out!! Had to find someone else!!

  Review based on unsafe driving. Passing on the right shoulder (Cody Rd in leclaire) during school bus pickup. 9/17. Hope y'alls got good insurance because you have an employee that appears to be a Huge liability behind the wheel of your company van.
