  Archie’s was the only Electrical Company that responded to my inquiry in a timely manner. They fixed the grounding at my home in Laguna Vista. It was not an easy fix given that the Builder/Developer did not use the right grounding rod (used rebar) and the disintegrating rod was in cased in the cement walk way. He figured out a way to repair and not to break the cement walkway. The repair was completed in a few days … had to order the grounding rod. Also he did not charge me an exorbitant price for the repair.

  I called this company on Memorial Day and left a message about needing service. The next day I called again and was told they would call me when service man was on his way. No call all day. I called the next day and was told the same. I asked to speak to Archie; to this day no one has called me. I called another company and got service within four hours.

  Setup a 9AM appointment in Weslaco I drove from McAllen to meet whoever Archie's electric was going to send; for a general service call and quote for repairs. At 9:20AM I called the office to check on who where their guy was only to be told to give them a few minutes. A technician calls me 10 minutes later that he is in Pharr and will be on his way but he needed 30 minutes to arrive. I spoke to the owner (Archie) who said I can dispatch a guy right now to be there in 15-20 minutes; fact of the matter is why book an appointment and not have someone there I can understand 5-10 minutes late but having customers wait an hour after the appointment is a waste of time! Poor communication between whoever is booking appointments and dispatching their technicians. Only, to be told by the owner that he can help but after the fact. I will take my business elsewhere.
