  I highly recommend Astrawatt Solar!!! I did a ton of research into solar panels and was lucky enough to get the most passionate and informative sales rep on the planet, Rhody. He took the time to answer all of my questions and listen to what I had to say. After signing my agreement, Megan took over as the project manager and kept me in the loop as to what was going on, how long it would take as well as any updates she had on her end. She was also very quick to answer any questions I had. A site visit was scheduled with the project coordinator, Desmond, who came out and did a complete walk-through on my property and we determined the best place to place the ground mount system. He took a bunch of measurements and submitted them for review. A few weeks later Megan then sent me all the plans and engineer stamps on the project. My installation manager, Jamie, coordinated the solar installation with Megan. The day of the solar panel installation Ryan and his crew arrived and although it rained/sprinkles off and on for those 2 days they worked with no complaints and got the job done! They were all very courteous, polite and picked up after themselves. Ryan took the time to do a walk through with me and explain the information on the Enlighten app (for the solar panels). This whole process has been very smooth and I have been updated the entire time. Even after my solar panel installation I received a phone call from Jamie stating when the inspector was planning on coming out as well as another follow up email from Megan explaining that an inspection would take place and then a net meter would be installed. Everybody I have came in contact with has been very polite, answered all of my questions and I could tell they are all very passionate about their work. I can’t thank you enough for such a great experience with these guys and that’s why I would highly recommend going with them for your solar panel needs!

  I don’t usually leave reviews for businesses. However, rising Sun solar completed our install quickly, efficiently, and went over the top in terms of taking care of even the smallest details. Ryan and his crew were awesome to work with. They were great with my family, respectful, hard-working, and even went above and beyond taking care of some of the peripheral issues that came up around the installation. I got multiple quotes from companies before installation. I feel like the price point for rising Sun solar was fair, actually better than any of the competition that I looked at. I wouldn’t hesitate a minute to Recommend these guys to friends family and neighbors. I recommend without reservation!

  I wanted to give them a 5. They didn’t earn it. I recommend RisingSun Solar. This is because the many positives outweigh the few issues I experienced. My background is in engineering and I was general contractor on my home. From initial contact to the installation RisingSun Solar was a 5. I looked up the material they specified and it was among the highest rated. They answered all my questions and provided me with information I requested. RisingSun kept to the schedule they provided at the beginning. When the material arrived, there were some problems. The order was not complete and some of the material was incorrect. The installers corrected most of the problems quickly. They started on Dec. 14 and completed all they could on Dec. 17. I was going to go into greater detail. I decided to skip that detail. It took RisingSun a full 5 weeks to complete their work. This meant that Evergy would not schedule their inspection and meter replacement. All of the issues that caused delay were under the direct control of RisingSun. All of these issues should have taken no more than a few days to correct. When the issues arose, they showed no urgency to complete their job. This is why I RisingSun earned this rating.
