We had used there services for a water heater due that they informed us that our water heater needed to be replaced. The water temp never was consistent and after some time we called them to see if they could fix our situation. They came twice to attempt to fix the water temp and at the second time time they told us that the tank needed to replace. We called back Atlantic Green plumbing and the receptionist, Teresa, was very rude and confrontational with us. She was raising her voice at my wife and being condescending to her. I dont know if its because we hare hispanic and have an accent, and thats why she behave with us that way. Bottom line stay clear of this company, there technicians are friendly but their customer service department is horrendous.

We apologize for any frustrations that you may be experiencing due to the heater issue. Please understand that the heater may have several years manufacturer warranty remaining, but we only give an industry standard one year labor warranty. After our labor warranty expires, any repairs needed to the heater are to be taken up with the manufacturer. We installed this heater for you almost 2 years ago and have had several additional visits to your property, for different plumbing repairs and installs, with no mention of a malfunctioning heater. However, since we installed the heater , and we valued you as a customer, we dispatched a technician to troubleshoot the water heater free of charge. The first technician identified a clogged intake screen. Further testing and resetting of the device were performed, and the heater seemed to be working properly. We scheduled a follow up call with you for two days later. You called us the next morning saying your kid’s bathroom wasn’t getting hot, so we again dispatched a technician free of charge. Technical support advised us to bump the water temperature up to 125 and see if the problem would resolve itself. The next day, a phone call was received at our office from Yara Maestre with no mention about the functions of the heater, simply, demanding a new heater. She continued making threats to our company’s wellbeing at which time she was transferred to our 30-year veteran office manager and excellent customer service representative. Theresa Dove tried to explain the situation, and that she would need to contact the manufacturer if she wanted a new heater, because the manufacturers technical support wanted to test the previous troubleshooting first. Theresa then assured her that we would do our best to help her, and work with her on pricing, but was met with more threats of defamation of character throughout the community if her demands were not met. Yara Maetre was then asked to advise us of what technical support told her. The following day we received this review and about fell on the floor. I can understand the frustration with the water heater, but this is out of our control. You have the right to think we were rude, even if we were just firm on our warranty policy. You have a right to say we have bad customer service, even though we sent a technician out twice free of charge, almost a year after our labor warranty expired. The upsetting part is that you have slandered us in saying any of this is possibly due to your race. Theresa has several different ethnicities in her family, including Hispanic. One of the founders of Atlantic Green is of Asian descent and we are a racial diverse company. This type of blackmail and decimation of character is unacceptable, and our attorneys will surely be contacting you.

We chose Atlantic Green to do the plumbing rough-in and finish work for a very ambitious bathroom remodel (new piping and drain rough-in for a walk-in shower, freestanding tub, toilet, and two-sink vanity, as well as installation of all of the fixtures once the rest of the construction was done). The people they sent were skilled, personable, and communicative; they ran into some challenges we had not anticipated based on existing ductwork in our home; Tate and Carl helped us figure out a solution to make everything fit and work exactly as we wanted it to. All of the work passed inspection without a hitch. We will definitely use Atlantic Green again in the future.

Kyle and Marshall arrived within the promised window and squared away my leaky Delta shower fixture. They had a bit of difficulty removing the old valve but stuck with it while ensuring to not damage the piping connections. Totally pleased with the service provided.
