  We called Austin Electric last Wednesday because we lost electricity in the portion of our home that was added on at some point after the house was built. We did everything we knew to do to try to get it back on with no luck. This same thing happened about a year ago and we called Austin Electric to come fix it. They were in and out in about 30 minutes. Everything worked great. When we called last week, we explained that they had fixed it before and we told the lady that the plugs that our 2 deep freezers plugged into were also knocked out… she told us that she didn’t have anyone available on Wednesday but that someone could come Thursday afternoon. Thursday comes and goes and no electrician or phone call. We call back Friday to tell the lady that no one has showed up or called and when can someone come fix this issue. She told us that she would have to call us back. Today is Monday. Still no call. Still no electrician. The way that they are handling this is very unprofessional and very bad for business. Definitely not recommended.

  Great people are hard to find but these are some of the best. I would recommend them to anyone for electrical needs or generator installation.

  I’m located 8 miles from this company. I called today to see about an estimate on new service. Spoke with a very nice lady and was told they charge $75 just to come out to give an estimate and will credit $75 if they get the job. Well from my point of view - if I spend $75 for an estimate and the estimate is insanely high priced to do very little work then I just lost $75 and wasted my time. Removed 2 stars due to this fee that has a swinging door. If I charged my customers and potential clients a fee for an assessment or estimate I would not have the level of business I have today.
