  I was thinking about using you, but when I found out that you charged a customer for your own mistake ( wrong ladder to reach the ceiling) charge them an extra trip because you didn't bring the proper ladder. . You should always have all your letters and be prepared. I will not use you because of this. You lost work. Do business the right way. Pay for you own mistakes. I do not recommend this company one bit as a contractor myself. and as a contractor if you would have told me that you've been fired on the spot.

  Jeff and Eric helped install our ceiling fan and were very friendly and helpful. Jeff even offered to help clean the ceiling a little. However, although the service was wonderful, the bill was not. We expected to be charged $90/hr, and since their ladder did not reach the 18' ceiling on the first visit and we were recommended to replace the downrod as well to match the color of the fan (thank you for the recommendation, Jeff!), we had to reschedule for a later date. The actual installation took 1.5 hours so we expected to be charged for 2 to 3 hours depending on how the first visit would be charged. We were charged $315 for 3.5 hours by the owner, Joe. When we called to ask why, he was irate acting like we didn't want to pay for the first visit when we only wanted to know why the bill was for 3.5 hours. We were eventually told that the bill starts when the electricians begin travel, which accounted for the extra hour. This does not make sense since the electricians told us they tend to have multiple jobs in Birmingham each day, and I doubt Joe charges an hour travel time for each of them.
