I called B-right and spoke to James for assistance with a new garbage disposal switch. He was very polite and responsive to any and all questions I had, and went as far as to advise me on the most efficient way to get the job done - which may not even require his services. He could have dragged me along and quoted me $x dollars to do the work, but instead offered sound, honest advice on how to replace the switch without requiring new wiring. I would recommend anyone considering electrical work to give him a call.

I had b-right do the electrical for my kitchen remodel about 2 years ago. They had previously done work at my mother’s house which looked really professional so I decided to go with them. The initial work quote was a bit more than I expected, but I’m not familiar with how much these things cost so I was ok with it. During the course of the work James highly recommended upgrading the 2 breaker boxes, main and sub-main. This basically tripled the bill but I proceeded because I think it was a good recommendation. When he finished that part of the project he claimed he quoted me $500 more than what he had told me. Likely an honest mistake. He accepted what I told him that he told me, nonissue. When they were “finished” with the job, I found that there were at least 4 junction boxes ( installed for a future remodel) that had live wires run to them that had not been covered or even pushed into the junction boxes. No wire nuts, just live wires hanging out of the boxes. Had I not been up in the ceiling myself, they’d still be like that I guess. The breakers were live going to these wires, btw. I called James and told him. He offered to come remedy the issue but I told him it wasn’t a big deal and did it myself. I asked him to come quote a different job at a commercial building that same week. He quoted me $2700. I decided to get a quote from another licensed electrician. The entire project cost me around $1100. Here we are not even 2 years later and half of the LED can lights in my kitchen are dead. I called James and left a message hoping that I could buy the same lights that he used, and planned on replacing them myself. I never received a call back. James was nice and his crew was polite. However I would not recommend them. There are just too many other electricians out there that would likely take the time to do a better job, be more responsive and likely less expensive.

Our experience with B-Right Electrical started out with James repairing a breaker we were having trouble with. I called him mid-afternoon, and he came out the following morning. The price for that work was reasonable, so I asked him for a price for some other work we had planned. He provided a fair, reasonable price for a variety of electrical work: They replaced our 50 year old main meter box, ran 240V service to my outbuilding (100 yards away, I did the trenching) and installed lighting and several outlets inside, installed lighting under our carport, replaced pot lights in our drop ceiling, installed another subpanel, and ran updated circuits for our water heater, electric dryer, and washing machine. I cannot say enough to recommend B Right Electrical, who is a family business consisting of James and his son, Jared. They are courteous, professional, and prompt. James kept us up to date with regular communication throughout the job, and took care to ask if we had any questions at multiple steps along the way. The work area was clean and tidy when they finished. Overall, our experience with B-Right was excellent, and they will be my first call for any future electrical needs.
