My experience with Baker Electric was great. The guys showed up, did a clean and thorough install of a new service drop, meter box, and breaker box. The install of everything is clean and neat, there were good explaining what they were doing, and gave a excellent price on all the work. I’m very happy with it, and will recommend them for future jobs.

At first my boyfriend and I got very upset with them. We had an appointment with them. The man came a little late. Then after about and hour and a half he took a lunch break. Then his break took over an hour. He didn't complete the job. Which we paid for all of the work but $250. Which I have to say it wasn't a cheap job either..They had to call us to reschedule to complete it. Which it was rescheduled. Then that appointment time came around went and no one came or called us. So my boyfriend had to call them. Which they had an excuse for not making it. Which to me wasn't good enough. Because they should of called to let us know. We shouldn't of had to of called them to find out what was going on. They called us the following Monday to reschedule. Which they wanted to make it for like 2 weeks or so out. We weren't going to have it. But they came through after us getting very upset. They ended up coming that week. They sent better workers who stayed until they finished. We were very happy with the work they done and the workers they sent. They would of gotten 5 stars if they would of done right by us the first time around. But when you schedule jobs you complete them. We understand things come up. You just don't schedule something and just not show up. Without a call to the customer, letting them know your not going to make it. I sat there waiting all day for them. I had to schedule my day around them. My time is important as well. I can say they did do good work. But because of the first guy and not calling us, that makes the customer service very poor. At first it was going to be a 1 star but because they made a turn-around they worked it to a 3 star.

Poor professionalism on my installation and high price too boot. I should’ve gotten 2 quotes for my job to compare pricing but decided to pay “time and materials” for the job which were horribly overinflated. The owner of the company had 2 guys come out to do all the work and most of what they did was stand around smoke cigarettes and then go to the supply house 3x to get more parts in 1 day.
