  $560 to change out my entry chandelier and replace 3 bulbs on a 10 ft ceiling is over the top expensive. The electricians were very nice but their service time of 2.5 hours x 2 plus service call charge I think resulted from being exhausted from 2 previous jobs. I also tipped them $60 before I saw the bill. Being generous with my approximation… job should have been no more than $400.

  I built a gazebo in my backyard, but then realized it’s not that great without lighting. Bates ran some electricity to the gazebo and installed some lights, an outlet, and a fan. A very good price for some very good work by them. They also got the job done a lot faster than I expected.

  Bates Electric is an excellent, honest, company with reliable, knowledgeable & friendly electricians. I was replacing an old tankless hot water heater with a new one.Their estimate was far below others I’d received & the charge turned out to be even less! Elerio checked what needed to be done & William came & did the work. They were professional & efficient. I would recommend Bates Elecric very highly!
