They are usually pretty good at helping me get things that I need but this time I needed a furnace filter delivered to me and they wanted to charge me an outrageous amount to do that. I found a cheaper filter online.

I have used multiple times with mixed results. Some technicians are amazing. Some are not. Overall, the work they perform is decent and they'll likely find your problem and get it resolved. Dealing with anyone in the office is not a good experience. Leaving a message will get you nowhere. Calls will not be returned. You will be billed for service calls where the problem was misdiagnosed and getting answers to these billing questions is impossible.

The house I moved into had a heating/cooling system installed by the previous owners that was still under warranty through Baumberger. The first summer we were there, the AC stopped working and they came out several times to work on the unit, fixing small things, until they finally decided to put in an aftermarket piece on it to have it work relatively consistently. Twice, they came out and did nothing, but charged me their "diagnostic fee" both times just to tell me they weren't going to do anything. Earlier this year, I had an issue with the heating portion freezing over. They came out, did a TON of digging around, only to tell me the "unit does not work well in temperatures below 25 F." We live in northern Ohio; it gets that cold for almost HALF THE YEAR!!! I asked if there was anything we could do to help it work in those temperatures, and they offered an upgrade that was over $700, claiming it wasn't covered under the warranty. I decided I didn't have a choice with a newborn in the house, and paid for it to be installed. Less than a week later, it stopped working again, only for them to come out and do another 3 hours of digging to tell me the same thing, claiming this time that the upgrade only helps prevent the unit from LITERALLY freezing over. No matter what I would have done, it will never work in under 25 F weather. Long story short, I feel like they churn out charges by doing little to nothing to solve any problem, only to truly fix the problem on the thrd or fourth visit. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was due to one of their technicians actually being helpful and giving us some guidance on how to manage some of the small issues we were having without having to call. Even with 2 years left on the warranty, I will NEVER use these guys again.
