  After a site visit, Brent, the salesman, gave me an estimate for an electrical panel upgrade of about $5,000. I signed a contract and paid a deposit to have this company do the work. The electrician, Derik, came out to see the site snd said they could not do the work for the price in the estimate. The next day I got an email from Brent saying the cost of the project had to increase by an additional $11,000. When I called Brent, he said he had made a mistake. I asked if this was a bait and switch scheme. He got angry and said maybe I should find another company. I agreed. They did refund my deposit

  Hi Jean, I am sorry to hear of your 1 star experience with the team. Thank you for sharing as it is good feedback. While it is never our desire to upset anyone, it sounds like Brent misunderstood the full scope of work. You wanted a mini-split system installed. Once the electrician made a site visit to go over the details, it was made evident you would need a panel upgrade to be able to use the equipment. The panel was going to be pricey due to the PGE underground work required. We are family owned and operated and have been in business for decades.   I have been thrilled with the work that has been accomplished. Nick and David, our installation team, are professional and friendly. I cannot speak highly enough about them. We still have a bit of work to do to make the City Inspectors happy, but we should be complete with that work in a matter of a few days. Our only unhappiness with our experience is that Bellows is so good at what they do, it takes a long time to get through the process. We got our initial scope of work estimate and bid proposal on June 28, 2021. We accepted their bid in early July. Unfortunately, due to the workload, the installation of the AC unit was not accomplished until September 28 and 29, 2021. It has been a long, hot summer . . . sigh. Anyway, I think Bellows is a great company with superior staff. I would recommend them to others. I would also recommend having AC units replaced in the dead of winter!

  Bellows was referred from a friend. I called 7 other services prior with no response or we don't service your area. When I called Bellows, they were able to come out the next day, on time, texted arrival time and a picture of the technician. Very professional. Highly recommend. Will be the only service I call in the future if needed again..
