DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A FRAUD!!!! I had service rendered to try and fix my home generator. I called on 9/24/2021 to tell Benfield Electric that my generator was not fixed by the service call that was made. I was told by the Benfield service manager Gwen Deller that in order for them to come out and fix my generator correctly I would have to pay the previous balance of $474.34. I explained that I shouldn't have to pay that balance because they didn't fix my generator the first time. Gwen explained that if I paid the $474.34 they would come and actually fix my generator for free as a warranty call. So, I paid them $474.34 on 9/24/2021. After the technician came by my home on 9/28/2021, he said he needed parts and then I got another invoice for $506.09. I called on 10/13/2021 and the supervisor Joshua Cardwell told me they wouldn't do anything until I paid them an additional $506.09. He then hung up in my face when I told him I wanted a refund because I had already paid $474.34 and my generator had never been fixed and they promised me they would fix it for free since I had already paid them for services that were never completed. Benfield Electric scammed me, took my $474.34 and my generator still doesn't work. This is very upsetting and I don't believe this company should be in business with these unprofessional and unethical practices. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

I had such a bad experience with the firm. The first electrician they send did a great job and the person that managed the appointment was nice and helpful. The second electrician that came to install the second fixture the next day was very unprofessional, wrongly installed the fixture, couldn’t read the instructions and by the time he left the $1400 lamp was damaged. The person managing this electrician didn’t care about what happened or the damaged lamp and wanted to charge me an additional $175 to come out to put the replacement lamp up. I got the lamp replaced myself and all they had to do was at least switch it out.
