  We had a new dock attached. The guys came out very quickly. They had to run a trencher to get the new wire to our house. They did an excellent job and were very considerate. They had to remove a lot of drywall to get access to our panel, but were very careful to cut it out without damage so it was easy to patch. I would recommend them.

  They did not show on the first day for their appointment. They did come the next day. I needed a fuse replaced in my breaker box. It took less than 10 minutes and was an old fuse that he told me he found in the back room. My charge was $245. I am still astounded at that amount. I’ve checked with other electricians and this is way over what other people charge. When I questioned it he told me their service call alone is $185. If I had known that I never would’ve dealt with them.His work was fine replacing the breaker but it certainly wasn’t worth this amount. He also told me he was on his way home from work so it wasn’t an extra mileage charge or anything.

  Sorry you feel the way you do. But in most cases people that are worried about the cost of a service charge ask what our fee is. The breaker that you needed is obsolete! The worker was in a Bennett Electric vehicle so with that being said he was not on his way home from work. I hope the other electricians that you called carried work comp and liability on there business as well. We have been in business at the lake for over 15 years and have lived in the area for more then 25 years and DO NOT have the reputation of gouging our customers!!! I hope in the future you will learn to ask what a service call fee cost instead of having to go to google to express your feelings!!!

  Bennett Electric was very quick to respond and did a great job helping a friend of ours get their dock's electrical up to code. I highly recommend them!
