  Everyone I spoke with here has been really nice but I did have an issue with the cost for the job I had them do. I needed an outlet replaced in Louisville that wasn't a big deal. They arrived to find the tenant had already replaced the outlet but had wired it wrong. They swapped the wires and everything was good - somehow this cost $305. I asked for a breakdown of the bill and was told to call the office. I called the office and was told to call the electrician. I called the electrician who said yea sorry we had to drive there (longmont to louisville is 14miles) so I was charged for 2 hours of labor to swap 2 wires. The tech called me and said it was all fixed and they were in and out in 15 minutes. The tech did speak to me but said he can't do refunds because the owner won't allow it (I never spoke to the owner, nor did I ask to). The help and service I received was just fine - the price was just too high for what I had done.

  I hired A Better Way to install some electrical outlets in my garage for overhead lighting and run networking cable from my basement into my second floor rooms. I had a great first meeting with them to go over the layout of the house and to discuss the options we had available, and I was very happy with the flexibility and cost consciousness that I was met with. They very much are a "what do you want to do?" contractor versus a "this is what we are willing to do" contractor, and that is who I was looking for. A Better Way was happy to accommodate all of my requests and kept me in the know about all of the challenges and options once they got into the walls so that I could make informed decisions. I really felt like they were working with me to get the results I wanted within my budget, and I really appreciate that from a contractor. They were friendly, professional, and creative, and I'll definitely call on them again in the future.

  The epitome of the hardworking American small business. No project is too small, too complex, or "outside of the wheelhouse". Duane and his motley crew show up on time, prepared and ready to do a knock out job. I presented them with a new type of project and they studied up, at the end of my project they did an absolutely fantastic job. The attention to detail is incredible. They wired a mobile solar system into my van and took extra care to ensure it was clean and organized beyond what I was expecting. They installed a solar charger, inverter and battery isolation unit. They came with components I was missing and gave me a great deal on the work they provided. They are easy to reach and receptive. Versus all the big business around Denver who are too important for one of a kind projects. Better Way Electric set themselves apart in a really positive way. Absolutely outstanding 👏
