In November 2020 we made our first call for service on our Mitsubishi split system that was installed by BGE Home and is still under warranty. As of today, 8 March 2021 we have had approx 14 service calls; all parts replaced and one new one installed and the system still frosts up and does not heat the room. It worked the previous winter. Have requested twice to now have the unit replaced; then escalated twice with no response. I suspect if I were the President of BGE Home this problem would not have existed from November 2020 until March 2020. I am continuing my escalation by attempting to reach the BGE President and Mitsubishi. Will also be reaching out to local consumer TV reporters in an attempt to get the unit replaced. Would not recommend using BGE Home for this type of product purchase and installation. Update 23 March 2021: As a result of my earlier post we were contacted by the Service, Customer Care and Installation groups who were able to replace the unit within three days of the review. The new unit is working better than the original one ever did and seems to validate our belief the original unit did not perform per Mitsubishi specifications; a "lemon". After talking with he folks involved in this process it was apparent internal checks that would have resolved the problem did not work as BGE Home intended. I trust this has led to a process review.

My stove has not been working since December 10th. BGE Home was scheduled to repair my stove yesterday between 7.30 - 12pm; needless to say they never showed up. I called customer service to find out why no one showed up and was told that there wasn't any record of my appointment being scheduled, so basically someone on their end didn't do there job. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that they would have one give me call. I'm still waiting for a manager to call me. BGE Home does not care about their customers or the customer's time. They have no problem taking my money every month but is unable to provide me with the services I'm paying for. This was a very frustrating experience. I'm still waiting for my stove to be fixed.

I have been trying to reach BG&E home for three days now and have waited on hold for up to 30 minutes without options.I have waited for up to four weeks for service in the past. I doubt that this company is taking my contract seriously. I will be contacting other Home Warranty companies as of today and would appreciate any referrals.
