  I, too, am surprised at the low rating. We have been with Blachly Lane for 31 years. I am very grateful for all their hard work and the times we have been without electricity have been minimal. The office has always been very helpful. We worked together on an easement once and they worked around all of my concerns and requirements. The people who work for the company have always been friendly and skilled - thank you for your excellent service!

  After reading these few reviews, I decided I needed to write my first review. We’ve been Blachly-Lane customers for over 40 years. Truthfully, I can’t think of one thing to complain about. Those who work the line and brush crews do an awesome job. When other rural electric company customers have been out of power for days and days, we’ve seen our power restored in a few days or less. When they shut the grid down on the morning of Sept. 8th, a phone call to the office gave me a recorded message telling me the information I was looking for. A subsequent call the next morning gave me a good idea of what they were doing towards getting the power back on. We were off about 24 hours. We appreciate the electricity, and we appreciate Blachly Lane for providing it. Thank you.

  I know they're working hard to restore power and thank you! My one star is due to their inefficient way of informing consumers. The scrolling banner takes forever to go by. Give me a block of text that I can read through quickly to reserve battery on my cell phone I'm not able to charge. I navigated all through their webpage and couldn't find a simple bock of text with an update. I even started following them on Facebook, but their scrolling message isn't posted there either. Please did something that's more efficient for us who need quick updates.

  You asked, and we answered! If you'll check our webpage, you'll now see the block of text as you requested. We try to make the best use of the limited home page real estate, and you are right. At the moment, nothing is more important. Additionally, all the same information that is there is also updated to Facebook at the same time, if that is easier for you. We appreciate your feedback. We are working to adopt text updates as well, so look for that in the future. Blachly-Lane appreciates your patronage.
