  I am a general contractor (Centralia Remodeling Plus) and I have been very satisfied with Black Diamond Electric and Doug Carpenter. The prices are reasonable and the work quality is professional. If one of my customers needs a skilled electrician, I refer them directly to Black Diamond Electric, and my valued customers are super happy with the service. I have never had a call back or issue, and the electrical inspections pass, so I just don't have to worry. Like any quality professional, Doug stays busy, so plan your project in advance; that said, if you have an urgent situation, Doug is responsive.

  If you need a new construction electrician don’t call Doug. He is not a user friendly electrician. His wiring isn’t user friendly. I had to pay another electrician to clean up his mess at the tune of $6,000. The cleanup electrician said he’d never seen such a mess and he’d never follow Black Diamond Electric ever again. Beware his business contract can change from acceptance to final billing. Example: wiring of septic included but wasn’t, zero refund. That cost me an additional $975.00 because he stated the septic had been attached to the travel trailer and was a health risk to him. Original bid accepted included rough in and trim plus parts and labor. Can lights were in addition. The invoice I received showed wording change of includes parts, labor, and permit. Estimate rough in draw. He stated that was only a draw so I fired him.
