So they say I have a past due balance even though the amount of my next bill is the total amount of my electric and gas. They say they haven't received a payment even though it shows on their website and sent me a text that they received payment. Watch your bills people cuz Black Hills Energy billing department has screwy billing methods. I don't think they know what they're doing. Incompetence at its best. And no it's not a missing payment, it's a payment you refuse to acknowledge even though you show it on your website. I've already spoken with one of your reps and her supervisor looked over my account. I see I'm not the only one who has had this bad experience. I'm with the previous post, if there was a zero rating I would have chosen that.

Zero stars is not an option. After almost a year of trying to get their error resolved, I am thankful that I no longer have to deal with Black Hills. (I moved to a town that has a different, cheaper, competent company) Asked for a landlord revert on a property and they turned the gas off to the property, in February! Frozen pipes, water damage, cracked toilets, and they have the audacity to charge a re-hook up fee. They spent 10 months running me in circles hoping I would go away rather than pay for their error, which their office acknowledged. The utilities were auto paid on the property for almost a quarter of a century without a lapse. The only time they were off was when black hills turned them off. Main office listed it as a priority and no one contacted me. Main office resubmitted it as a high priority and it was 14 days before they contacted me. (Not to resolve the issue but to run me around some more.) I won't share a years worth of miserable details but I will never buy a property where Black Hills is the only option.

They need to get a better updated billing system. They show it’s paid on both ends then blame my bank . There’s no way. I have a bank app. I’m not sure what your up to but you’ve made my perfect payment record to the point where you sent me a disconnect notice. You should treat people better. I pay all my bills the same way same card only you have a problem with it . Now I need a payment plan
