This place is ran like a nursing home should be! The staff is constantly interacting with residents, they come immediately when the help button is pushed, it’s very clean, and meals were exceptional! Thankful for the care they provided my mother in law.

I was very impressed with the staff and the care my mom is recieving. The staff was extremely caring and attentive to the residents. They are very busy and constantly on the move interacting with the residents. They treated each and every person with dignity and respect. I appreciate each one of them and want to thank them for their hard work during difficult times. The home was clean and several residents were walking around in halls and always I saw staff interacting with them. Again I was impressed with all members of the staff I met .

This facility needs a better phone system for the patients! A cordless phone with the base at the nurses station is useless. I've tried several times to talk to my sister who is a patient there and can't understand anything she says and apparently she can't me either because the connection is bad to non-existent. Are the owners too cheap to have a phone and a TV in each patient room like a normal Rehab Center? The patients are told to bring their own cell phone and their own TV!! Sorry if I sound upset, but I live in NC and can't be there with her so calling is the only way I can visit with her right now.

We are looking into the issue, our processes and how we may provide better telephone communications between residents and their family members. There are phone system improvements planned for Braxton Health Care Center that would allow for better reception throughout the building.
