Matt and his team were excellent to deal with. I'm entirely satisfied with my new roof. The price was reasonable. They cleaned up after themselves very well. I would recommend Brosvik, inc. to anyone who needs work to be done, because they really did a very good job.

Unfortunately, Matt's work as well as his team was over priced and sloppy. He knew how much we were getting for a construction insurance claim and therefore took advantage and over charged us by thousands. They showed up late, didn't complete things we asked for and used a bad subcontractor for tile. It hasn't been that long and our tile has cracked, the grout looks horrible and we already need to get things replaced. I wish I could give zero stars. He knew the tile job was bad said he would come back and fix it and never did. Now we have to spend thousands to get the tile replaced and the walls fixed where they did a poor job with drywall and painting. It makes me sick everytime I walk in our bathroom knowing how much we spent. I never got to show it off, I've always been embarrassed of the shotty work, it looks like a DIY bathroom not a bathroom done by a professional.
Response from the owner
Yes, I admit mistakes were made. Things were overlooked, and the timeline was way over. This particular job did not go smoothly. Most importantly, my tile contractor did a terrible job. I tried and tried to get him to come back and make it right. After he made me look absolutely terrible, left an ugly mess of a tile job, and abandoned me, I still stood tall and offered to fix the whole thing myself since I was the one that hired him. The customer was too frustrated and tired of the construction to even allow me to fix it despite my multiple requests. Well, it was something like 1-1/2 to 2 years later (not really sure exactly how long), they texted me to ask me to come back and fix the tile. I really thought that was unreasonable after so much time, especially since I tried so hard to make it right at the time. By that time, I wasn't even a construction contractor anymore! I only do electrical now. I feel like most people would just ignore such a request, but I set up a time with the husband to talk on the phone and told him how I felt. Also, the first time I was made aware of any issues with drywall or paint was in this review. Despite bumpiness in the progression of the job, in the end, we did a complete and professional job as much as we were allowed to. The customers declined my here-and-now efforts while I was still on the job, and they never used their warranty that was written in the contract. I feel like a actually went above and beyond by asking the customer to LET me fix that tile, and also by taking the time and going through that tough and awkward conversation explaining why I was declining their highly belated request. They obviously don't see it that way, but I hope the readers of this review see that I have integrity, I care about quality, and I care about service. In this particular situation, I did everything I could do within reason.
