Professional, thorough, expert upgrade to my 120 year old home. One of the few Companies who would even tackle a knob and tube remediation. Other companies wanted to knock walls down which is last thing we wanted in a historic home. I cannot say enough positive things about George and his crew. They were excellent and knowledgeable and so friendly. I highly recommend George Brown Electric!

George and team were great to work with him until the end just ended up becoming a liar and arrogant. I hate working with liars. He was refusing to answer the questions I was asking about him about the work. All he kept saying he did it to code. I’m asking him of the wires or run and he refused to answer any questions. Will never work with him again

After 4 months of the customer being unresponsive to 7 separate requests to owners via email & text to settle the final payment due from a completed project that passed final inspection in the beginning of June.... All of which went unanswered.The 8th attempt was a phone call which the customer answered.. and said she hadn't received any of the (7) previous communications ( except 1) regarding her paying the final monies owed..on the phone call she agreed to pay but said she had to wait until her husband would home the upcoming Friday.Fast forward to the Friday visit and did a final walk-through with the customer, who was asking questions that had previously been asked and answered more than once.I patiently answered her questions, until the questions started being posed unrelated to work that we performed.. Specifically, the customer wanted to know the precise location that each individual circuit breaker served. I explained that that was called circuit mapping project and that would be a different contract and by code we are required to mark the general location of general-purpose circuits and in this instance since the house wasn't originally wired by us we would have no way of knowing the exact location of every device on any given branch circuit.the customer ignored my response and continued asking me questions that I would have no way of knowing the answer to...at that point I just let the customer know that I wanted my payment and we can be done. She then agreed to pay me but wanted to do so electronically and when I told her I didn't have the electronic invoice with me she proceeded to call me a liar that I had never sent any previous invoices or communicated that she needed to pay her final bill.. I'm a liar and arrogant? When I returned to the office, I supplied her with all the electronic evidence of the above-mentioned billing.. she had already written her review.. I guess she was unhappy that I had actual evidence of all the previous communications? It's sad when people of means tell lies to hurt the small business person.. Do you believe someone that ignores their contractor bill over four and a half months and then writes a scathing review when they finally have to pay up? I am happy to provide any documentation to support my side of the story..just remember all lies come out in the laundry!

George Brown electric came out with very short notice and completed a job in time that had a hard deadline. The technician was very knowledgeable and the owner was very tentative throughout the whole job making sure everything was done correctly. The price was more than fair. I will be using them in the future and will recommend them to others who need electrical services.
