  Amazing and super helpful! We had no idea what we were doing, Mikale took extra time to explain all our solar options. He helped us set up a user friendly system that we can understand, operate and install. Everything was in budget and with quality products! We are forever grateful for Mikale's coaching and helping us put together a solar kit that fits our needs. We could not have made the transition to solar without him and we are looking forward to working with him again!

  Cannot have enough nice things to say about BIG. As other reviewers have already mentioned Mikale takes care of you!! When I purchased a home that was off-grid, I knew next to nothing about solar power. He literally takes you by the hand, and very patiently walks you step by step with everything that's involved because when you are newbie to this, it can all feel incredibly daunting. There is absolutely no high pressure salesmanship involved. He is straightforward and honest. You tell him what you need, what your energy demands are, what your budget is, etc....and he tells you the things that you need and the things that you don't. I purchased a solar panel system from BIG over a year and a half ago. Only had one little glitch (which was easily fixable). They got back to me the same day I called to make sure I was able to take care of the problem. In short.....they care. They stand behind their business. I don't know what else you could ask for. Will never go back to on-grid living again.

  It’s been two years since we had our system installed. We have had nothing short of frustration and headaches from day one. Mikale had a guy named Casey do our programming of Mate 3 and it was totally done wrong. Long story short, all of our batteries 8 total, had to be replaced because they went dead due to wrong parameters being set from beginning. We have spent countless hours trying to get our system to operate properly. Mikale never did any follow up on system to make sure everything was working properly. We tried contacting him with problems only to get the runaround.... I would not recommend Build it Green to anyone. Do your research and find a company that will service your system or else you are in for a pile of headaches....
