  Yesterday I called Carter Electric as my kitchen ceiling lights were not working when I tried the switch. The technician was unable to come then, but Amy made an appointment for him to come this morning. I was totally prepared to wait for sometime, and pleasantly surprised when I heard this. Anyway, kudos to Charlie for fixing my problem! What a nice, personable, friendly guy! I appreciate your kind and prompt service, and would recommend Carter Electric to anyone needing this type of service! Thanks guys! Last week I again needed an electrician and called Carter Electric. My smoke detector went off in the middle of the night and I was not happy. I removed the battery and the unit was hanging out from the ceiling, but at least, it was quiet!? Amy made an appointment for the next day, and I had Caleb remove and replace all three of my smoke detectors. The old ones were the original ones from 2004, so it was about time to do this. Caleb was such a nice young man, and I appreciated him taking care of this for me. Another problem solved! Thanks so much!

  100% recommend Carter Electric for ALL your electric needs. We had them come to look at our electrical box and see if we could get it all straightened out due to a different person removing a fuse box and replacing it with a breaker box and breakers. Well it was not done correctly and we could tell due to many things going on in our home randomly shutting off and not coming back on. When Carter electric came Charles looked in the breaker box (which was not big enough for all our needs), the out side of the house where the main line is and the meter. He gave me an estimated ball park figure of how much it would cost. Honestly I was pretty amazed as we were prepared to pay more then his ball park figure. I said great lets do it and thought a time would have been scheduled. No, he made a call to his company, then left, he and another guy came back and they removed, installed and repaired the whole electrical box (Went from a 100 AMP to a 200 AMP box), a new electrical meter, new main wire that is was exposed on the outside of the house and enclosed it with PVC (Idk what that is call but it looks great!) in a day!! I want to thank you Charles and I'm sorry I did not catch the other man's name as I was running in and out of the house all day running errands, and Carter Electric team! The work that was done to protect my home (investment) is more than I expected and for the SMALL price I paid is well worth hiring them for ALL your electrical needs. I had a page and a half of work and items on my invoice, to fix a bad job, for less than $1800.00. Obviously my price is for my needs and everyone's needs are different. I will be calling Carter for more of my needs like needing out side electrical outlets, reconnect our electric to the Barn, adding electric to a hot water heater, fixing a piggy back job from the previous owner on a 220 outlet and more.

  Called Carters for some light replacements. Office staff is very nice and received appt. in a timely manner. Charlie was very nice, personable, knowledgeable and completed the work efficiently! Thank you for the great service!
