  Nick Donovan with Catahoula Electric is hands down the BEST. We requested a quote to have an transfer switch for our generator. He gave us an excellent price and was extremely thorough in his explanation of what he would be doing and what we would be getting. Kevin and his team arrived on time on the day they said they would abs got the job done quickly and professionally. Kevin then came back to ensure we understood how to use the switch with our generator. Highly highly recommend for any of your electrical needs.

  After a prolonged power outage following Hurricane Zeta, we decided we needed to get our house wired for generator power as soon as possible. Running multiple extension cords through the house and having no well pump power was not a desirable option. We got several estimates to get a generator properly hooked up, and Catahoula Electric provided the most competitive prices. Knowledgeable customer service also came with the good prices, leaving us at ease with any work to be done on our home. I was assured no shortcuts would be taken, and the job would be completed correctly.  Nick and his crew showed up on time as promised and completed the wiring for the generator and also fixed our broken outdoor sockets so we could get up our Christmas Lights. The installation was clean, problem free, and did not deviate from the estimated price. A test run of the generator showed that everything inside the house was working perfectly. We never have to worry about choosing which appliances to run and dragging extensions cords through the house during long power outages again. We are very satisfied with Catahoula Electric and would recommend them to anyone.

  Thorough inspection of premises for estimate to install a full-house generator. Nick was willing to answer all questions and was innovative in his recommendations. He was never rushed in making sure we knew exactly what the installation required. Chad sent the estimate when promised and was always available for questions when they arose. It was because of Nick and Chad's professionalism and knowledge that made us feel comfortable choosing Catahoula Electric for our Generac installation.
