  This is the WORST ELECTRIC COMPANY!!! I had called last month to pay my bill. The lady said oh you have a credit on your account. I said how? She said because you have received your deposit back. I was so excited. Fast forward to today. I woke up and my electricity was off. Wondering what was going on. A outage or another tree limb knocking down the power line. So I call to see what was going on. The lady said that you were disconnected for non payment. WHAT!!!!

  Hope this storm coming they are well prepared!!! Last year no powers for a whole week !!!! But my friend with same company not even 10 minutes away from had her lights on all week !!! I was beyond upset o wish I can change company but my location I have no options at all !! All I heard was we have outages but houses away 5-10 same company had power!!!

  Claudia, thank you for your comment. In our Winona area, CCECA receives electricity from Oncor. During last years storm, they shut our supply off and we could not provide electricity there due to that reason. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  I agree with and sympathies with all the negative comments I live alone in a small home gone 40 hrs a week and my bill is always very high. $173 this month. My bill is never consistent it’s always outrageous timing is never consistent my deposit was $325 if ever I’m in a bind extensions are out of the question outages last for hours . Cceca I saw reply and to help a huge number of your customers if we were given the option to use a. Reasonable provider and removed from under the glutenous monopoly you hold over as because your Co-op which is actually owned by the people so it should be For The People!! Too god bless
