  Two problems: 1) We had underground wiring in Orlando for 27 years and during that time we had maybe 5 power outages. Since we have moved to Clay County in July 2021 we have had around 10 or about 2 per month. Unacceptable for any US power company. 2) Installed solar panels on Nov 3 2021 and our contractor submitted the interconnection agreement. I called two weeks later and was told it would be 6-8 weeks for the net meter install due to backlog. After hearing nothing at the 8 week mark, I called back to find out that they said they never received the agreement. I was given a personal e-mail that they promised would make sure top priority was put on it. My contractor resent it immediately. No answer. They and I e-mail again. No answer. I called today Jan. 14 and was told that they received our application agreement as of Jan. 10. No priority was noted and now they don't have any dual (Net) electric meters and due to supply disruptions don't have any idea when they can get them. Needless to say I am beyond frustrated.

  Where do we start with this company…raise prices but have horrible service every year. Our power goes off at least once every two weeks. It turns off and turns right back on. Other times it turns off and you call and they have no idea when it could be back on. Guess they still haven’t figured out people still work from home and them constantly turning the power on and off every other week is really messing with OUR jobs.

  Some of these reviews are almost comical. Appears that people just do not pay their bill, and give bad reviews. I have been with Clay Electric over 60 years. They are always polite, power outages are rare. I have never encountered a problem paying my bill on the phone. I believe the bill is much lower than JEA or FPL.
