We contracted Craig electric to complete electric jobs for our condo that we were renovating. Craig and his assistant completed most of the requirements but unfortunately some of the jobs needed were not, and some of the work was improperly done and needed for him to return to fix . In all we calculated app 1 hour would suffice to complete the project. After a week of attempting to communicate with Craig re our concerns, Craig said that he did the job and that in his opinion, the work was complete. He mentioned that he was starting a commercial job as was very busy! For 2 weeks I tried to communicate with him but he refused to answer our calls and texts. We now need to hire another electrician due to his refusal to return to fix the improper work and complete the contracted work Very disappointing!

After firing one electrician, who turned our renovation job into a disaster that required a huge outlay of money to work around, we contacted a dozen Daytona area contractors who were all too busy to be bothered. We finally phoned Craig's Electric upon the recommendation of a friend and were pleased when Craig responded fairly promptly to our inquiry and quoted a reasonable price. He even discounted the original quote 10% because he empathized with us regarding our disaster. The owner and his apprentice showed up on time and worked for a day and a half to complete our job. They seemed very capable and efficient, but they left several items undone. We paid them in full, since they seemed very amicable and professional. We were confident that the remainder of the work would be forthcoming. That didn't happen. We have a gaping hole in the kitchen wall where a GFCI outlet was supposed to be installed. Craig didn't have the correct receptacle on his truck and was supposed to come back and install one. He did install two old-style receptacles in the kitchen where he wired a 2-way switch. Every other switch and receptacle box in the kitchen had already been replaced by the first electrician with new decora style, which is what we wanted, and the old style that Craig installed looks hideous. Craig's apprentice installed old style receptacles in the master bedroom as well, even though I'd purchased the decora style receptacles for his use. He used truck stock instead. Another issue is that a new double outlet (decora style) they did install in the living room was so crooked that I had to use a screwdriver to apply pressure on the metal boxes to try to straighten them myself, which I managed to do. But now the cover plate won't fit because the screw holes are so far out of kilter. Meanwhile, after not hearing from Craig for more than a week about returning to finish the job, my husband attempted to contact him by phone and/or text daily for two solid weeks to find out when he would come and complete the job. The owner finally responded that he didn't have any unfinished business here. When we texted him a punch list, he replied that he hadn't agreed to any of that. I'm on the verge of tears, and we have no idea what to do, except try to hire a third electrician to clean up the mess that the second one left. We've spent more than $2,000 on electricians so far, plus another $750 on a carpenter who had to build an entire new wall in the living room to cover the mess that the first one made. If you intend to use Craig's Electric, I strongly advise that you do not pay for any work until every item on your list is 100% completed to your satisfaction.

Hands-down Craigs Electric is the #1 electrician vendor in all of Volusia county. They are the most authentic, honest, reliable, truthful, skilled and nicest company you could ever work with. It is most definitely top down. The owner Craig is a quintessential professional who is also kind and thoughtful and generous. His crew follows right along in his footsteps. We used him in place of a general contractor’s choice for electrician and I could not be any happier. I could not recommend Craigs electric any higher. If you don’t use them using the wrong people. I promise you
