I had a problem with breakers blowing this past 3 weeks and had them come out, they found nothing, stayed 15 minutes and I got a bill for $132.00; yes, $132! Well, a few days after they were here, I discovered that GFCI outlet in the garage in which I had plugged my freezer was one of those that has a button that needs resetting when a breaker blows. I didn't catch it, they didn't tell me to look and guess what, I lost over $50 worth of food, mostly ice cream for the grandchildren. I also found the sprinkler system was affected by the outlet as well. Now I am paranoid, I check that plug at least 4 or 5 times a day just to see if it is okay. Now I have to go out of town for a few days and I couldn't afford another electrician to come out since I had to pay these folks so much so I just pray the breaker holds while I am gone. I gave a friend some of the meat that was in there. It did not thaw out. But the only reason I checked was because I was getting ready to leave town and needed to be sure the sprinkler system was working. If I had not done that everything in both freezers would have ruined. Now back to the GFCI, I think I had similar plugs in my previous home but they were not used to plug in freezers and refrigerators. The building of this home, 6 years old, did such a poor job that all I have done since I moved in on June 29th, 2019, is spend money to correct the mistakes. I wish I had rented an apartment and just sold everything I had rather than buying this place. I know I would have a lot more money in the bank if I had. So unless you need Danco to really do some work, don't call them because they will bill you even if they do nothing.
