  We want to thank the Dayton Water Department for the quick response to a very recent issue we experienced. Everyone we spoke to and interacted with was courteous, professional and responsive. The problem was taken care of quickly with absolutely no issues. Thanks again for your professionalism and good work. In this day and age it's not as common as it used to be. If there were higher than a 5 star rating I'd have given it to them.

  Awful customer service. They seem pleasant when you speak with them, but their personalities flip the moment you inquire about your bill. They never identify themselves and threaten to terminate the call if you persist in your inquiries to their identification. This previous month, they made a mistake because of their computer software, and threatened to turn off my power because of their mistake. It is truly an injustice they have no competition and I am subject to their omnipotent tyranny.

  This is a very small town and close knit community, it’s not a very wealthy town, it’s full of struggling working class families and I feel like Teresa recognized this when she took over for Curtis. The new management has really turned this utility company around. The provide a kind, courteous, professional and friendly service with an atmosphere of southern hospitality. I’m a single parent of a child with special needs and they have worked with me during financial struggles. If you’re genuinely honest and willing to pay what you have and initiate an open line of communication, they’re happy to work with you. This review is being written doing the covid19 global pandemic, they are doing everything they can to work with all the struggling families, including myself.
