  Making customers pay for a conflict with the poor maintenance of Centurylink poles is very disappointing. I’ve been a customer for over 15 years and moving to new construction home put in work order request weeks ago. Person assigned to my work order never reached out I had to contact them several weeks later after electrical contractor did his work the communication was poor. Transformers on both neighbors poles which are owned by Centurylink and was told they cld not use their poles to attach equipment to only to find out from a Supervisor that they could have requested Centurylink replace the pole but I was never given that option. Then told I had to pay $972.00 to have a new pole put up and that had to be paid before I could get put on the contractors schedule with Mastec been almost a week and nobody can tell me when that will happen. Spoke to a Supervisor today who did give an apology and I appreciate that but a refund would be the appropriate course of action. You should not make existing customers that have generated revenue for years pay for a conflict between two companies because one company (Centurylink) does NOT maintain their lines. That is poor customer care and taking advantage of people where there are existing transformers. I have never given a bad review and I thought hard before posting but this is just wrong. And they have the upper hand because it’s not like you can choose another company because your geographical area chooses it for you. Very disappointed!!

  Good for everything but giving people some idea of when they're power will be back on. I put in an outage report at 9 this morning and currently have seen everyone but where I live gain power back. But im still waiting on an eta with two dogs and five cats roasting in my house.
