  Very unprofessional, hard to reach. In 2017 I talked with Eugene at E-1 about wiring a building for a welder. During that time he missed multiple appointments and consistently failed to return calls. He called it being busy, and I gave him the benefit of the doubt. On my request, he provided me with a shopping list for materials, which I took as a sign of good faith. I purchased those materials, but when I reached out to start work he continued to miss appointments, and said he would call me when he was able to start work. That never happened. Other circumstances lead me to abandon the project. I am now selling the materials I purchased. My first thought was that E-1 and/or Eugene might be interested. I received immediate feedback from Eugene that he was interested, and that he would call me the following morning to meet and discuss the purchase. No call. I call him and leave a message, no return call. I call E-1 and I am told that someone will let him know to contact me, but again, no call. I’ve texted Eugene, I’ve sent him an email, and I have received no reply. On paper, this business, and this individual representing them, owe me nothing. However, they have wasted enough of my time, and given me a measurable amount of stress, that I felt inclined to share my experience. I hope that this helps people in my neighborhood avoid going through what I have been through with E-1.

  Absolutely not professional, they promised to rewire our entire double shot-gun and bring everything up to code. They did a half ass job, which took six months and then some to be done(they told us it would be done in 2-3 weeks). We had to constantly harass them into doing their job (which by the way they didn't even finish, we are missing five plug in that they promised us in the original contract!). On top of that we had to have them come back and redo the roof attic wiring, because we saw that they ran new wiring right into the old asbestos wiring that was falling apart and giving off sparks if you touched it! When they sent some guys over to look at it, they told us, "this is a fire hazard and illegal", then they asked us, "Who did this?" We said, "you did!" I guess the workers they sent over didn't know that E-1 had done the job to begin with. Who knows what other fire hazards are hidden in the electrical that they did, but we can't see. When they reran the wiring they had to take off all our light plates and when they put them back on half of them our backwards. So, now some of the switches you need to turn down in order to turn on the lights and fans, others up! Not only did we pay them to rewire the whole house they took our money and hooked us up to the old wiring! Luckily we saw before our house burnt down! Dishonest under all points of view, and they bid for a price but they wanted more money along the way for an awful job. We gave them more just to have electricity! And we still have no idea if the job is up to code, and currently we can't afford a professional to take a look at our wiring. If it wasn't for the fact that I can't afford it, I would sue them. When we hired them many of our neighbors warned us about them, but we had already started the process. We had hoped that they were exaggerating, but I wish I would have listened to them at the time and just hired a different company.
