  Just fantastic. Highly Recommended. They are mostly a commercial contractor, but they have at least one residential guy (Ludwin). We moved into a new TH in D.C. and wanted to convert 17 ceiling lights to LED wafers, so he had to remove the commercial-grade 4" fixtures that were spread throughout the bedroom floor. He also swapped a chandelier, installed a new fixture, replaced a switch, installed 2 outdoor flood lights 25' above the ground, diagnosed some wiring issues and provided an absolute ton of feedback on things we were thinking of doing. He's not a designer, but he's very friendly and gives you good feedback on ideas you talk to him about during his visit. He was fully engaged while he was at our house and was an open book with answering questions. He was on-time, masked (stayed masked at his choice "to keep the multiple customers I see throughout the day from getting each other sick"), with his own shoe coverings that came on and off every time he went in or out, and respectful of the fact that we were working, too, while he was doing the installs. I can't find enough superlatives to rave about this company and this electrician - they really are first-class. He carried a dust pan and broom around with him the whole day and kept cleaning up after himself. If I could give six stars, I would. They're that good. I wish I could find something to balance this to make it more authentic, but there really isn't anything. Takes them a couple weeks to bill you, perhaps? Hire them with confidence.

  Hired this company for a security gate system. Installer Dave Madden was unprofessional, condescending, and verbally aggressive. He billed items that were not needed and lied about warranty and guarantees. Should have read the fine print (figured there weren’t people out there that are that dishonest). Employees at the company stated “sounds like your talking about Dave” and “Dave doesn’t have the best people skills” “your not the first person that has said this”. The owner got back to me after calling in 5 times, and was kind on the phone. He just kept stating the fine print in the warranty, which was not what was promised to me. Offered to send my situation to another company, still have not heard back. Took all of our service somewhere else.

  I have worked with Echo Electric for close to 10 years. They are always polite, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. I trust them to represent my company well when working on our remodeling projects.
