EMS came and found out the problem with my generator, they fixed it and it was still underwarrenty. Check mark for my pocket. Fast service, friendly and explained what went wrong. Thank you for coming out on a cold day.

I had a  General Standby generator installed on 10-22-20.  I was so pleased that they were extremely punctual first of all.  That's a great first impression!  They proceeded to tell me exactly how they would get started and approximately when they would have to shut my power off.  They made sure to check with me when the time came in case I wasn't ready.  So polite.  They answered any of my questions and I noticed how organized they were as the team went to work.  Did a great job of cleaning up the area after they were done.  The young man who came the next day to do the intial start up was again on time, polite and answered my questions.  Can't say enough good things about them.  I highly recommend them and I will certainly be using them again.

I dropped my 50 kw diesel generator off for service and they had it in and out within one business day. Very good customer service and quality work. Will definitely be using them again. Highly recommended !

I have been using ESM for my generator maintenance for a couple years. They are always extremely polite and accommodating. The technicians are professional and always treat me like a high valued customer.

ESM installed two 22KW standby generators. They provided us with prompt, professional and courteous installation... all in one day! Coordination with electrical and propane suppliers was scheduled by ESM. The crew was exceptional, with no clean up debris left behind.
We are impressed and highly recommend ESM for your generator needs.

Charges a $70 car fee and $70 an hour for travel time from Lewiston - they added $105 to the bill -
$175 total (just to get to Freeport) before he started work on the house.

The fan that he  installed only worked for a few weeks and then stopped. Will never use again or recommend

Katie, I apologize that your experience was not to your liking.  We do charge door to door for our services like many contractors do. Even though we are not physically at your location we are still working for you when we are driving.  You contacted us on a Saturday via email and said you needed the work completed ASAP.  We dispatched a tech to perform your requested work the very next Tuesday, that sounds like very good customer service to me.  I'm sorry that the fan that you provided  us to install (owner supplied) is no longer working, which should not be a reflection of our company, maybe the fan is broken and needs to be returned to the place that you purchased it from.  The fact that the fan was not working was news to us and was only brought to light during a collections call we made today.  Also the work was completed back in February 2018, for which we just received payment from you today 07/12/18.  We thank you for that.   The entire invoice was about $250.00 and we completed other work while on site, not just the fan install, that I am assuming you are content with.

Called. Two guys came over. They told me what was wrong with my power. They had a few more people come check the situation. Configured with Cmp and inspectors. Got the job done same day. Power is no longer fluttering and job well done! Thanx!

Very disappointed ! Do not call them! They charged me 300 $ just to come to my place for travels fees. This business will fail at this rate. No second customer here. And now I have to fight for my money. WARNING

Brent,  I'm sorry that you feel this way.  As a service company we charge door to door for our services, as do many other generator repair companies.  As a consumer you may have wanted to ask our rate schedule before deciding on us making the repair. We would have been happy to have provided them, we are very transparent. Even when the technician is driving to your jobsite he is working for you, I still have to pay him, put fuel in the truck, repair and maintain his equipment and provide him with training to work on  your generator.  I assure you that other companies that perform  this type of work charge much more per hour and also include mileage rates.  None of which  you were charged.  I offered to negotiate the invoice with you in a detailed 2 minute and 30 second voice mail I left on your cell phone today.  I guess the $100.00 credit that I proposed, which equates to a 20% reduction in your bill is not sufficient, this would have made your bill $190.58 in parts and $237 in labor.  I'm not quite seeing where we charged you $300.00 in travel.  Do you think that the labor to repair your generator should have been $37.00?  Unfortunately I guess we just cant make you happy.  Its really too bad that you leave a 1 star review for a company that professionally repaired your generator.  I'm assuming that your happy with the repair. You never mention the prompt service you received, or the fact that we made a return trip the very next day to make another repair to your unit,  you also don't mention the very polite  secretary that answered the call and scheduled you accordingly.  Seams like we provided a service to you that your pleased with and that the entire process was performed professionally, your just not happy with the cost, repairing generators is not a cheep profession and driving from Auburn Maine to Bryant Pond is not free.
UPDATED 04/04/19 - Brent we have made several attempts to contact you about payment over the last 4 weeks.  Its too bad that your intention at this point is to steal from a company that repaired your generator.  At a minimum give us the curtesy and call us back and rectify the issues with your invoice.

When they do a job they do it right.  The business office however is very poor at scheduling, detailed paper work (quotes and billing) and communications.

Gary, we were contracted by you to change out an engine on your 8 kw Generac generator.  We verbally set a price and your agreed to provide a down payment to secure the engine.  We ordered the engine and installed it in April.  The whole process started in the middle of February.  We received the engine in the beginning of March.  Due to the weather and the heavy snow load on the ground, you agreed it would be best to wait until the snow was melted to perform the engine swap.  We performed the work on the agreed date.  We sent then invoice for the work which was about $100 less then the original estimate.  During the payment collection process you requested an accounting of our technicians time.  We  provided that to you via email.  We have since tried to reach out to you via phone calls, emails, and certified mail to contact you to rectify your issues with the invoice.  We scheduled the work and performed it on the day we said we would, our invoice was about $100 less then the estimate, and we went above and beyond to contact you.
