  Ellenwood Electric provided excellent service. From the quick response to give us a quote through the excellent on-time installation, they provided service that was without reproach. They did extensive work for us, updating the electric service to our 96 year old home. I highly recommend them.

  Waited for over a month for them to do work. (that was fine) Day of my appointment they didn't show up -They said they called (I had no missed called) -They said they left a voicemail (I have no voicemails) -They said they were at my house (I have no security camera footage of them there) So when I talked to the owner (who called me with the same number they supposedly called originally), they said they would have to reschedule me so I would have to wait another month. I found this to be unacceptable seeing as this wasn't my fault. ----Edit after reply---- Attached are both my call logs and my voicemail logs (the voicemail will still record data even if my phone is offline.) As you can see there was no attempt to call. I don't know if it's because I have an out of state area code that confused the employee and they called the wrong number? Additionally this is an apartment building so even if they showed up and rang doorbells, they would not have been able to get the right person to let them in.

  My head electrician has been working for me for over 20 years, and his apprentice for over 5. If they said they called and left a message, I have no reason to doubt them. The call log on my electrician's phone shows an outgoing call to the customer number around 9:30. He states that they made 2 visits to the residence with no one there to allow us access. I have significant money tied up in electrical permit and inspection fees, had a City electrical inspector scheduled for late morning, and had parts and special order materials on my truck to accomplish this installation. I am sorry he did not meet us for this appointment, and have financial loss as a result of his not making this appointment. There is and was no reason for us not to have ben there, as both of my employees claim, and I believe what they have told me. I cannot cancel other scheduled jobs in order to make an appointment for this customer as quickly as he would like. We honor our appointments with our customers, however they do not often have the same consideration for our schedule. I offered this customer our next available appointment. We are a very small company, and have little to no flexibility in our schedule. Unfortunately, it is impossible to please everyone, although we do our best.

  Ellenwood Electric was recommended by the place where I purchased my antique fixture. They are talented, personable, fast and reasonably priced. I am thrilled with the work they did at my home, and they handled the antique fixture with expert care. They switched out two ceiling fans for two fixtures and repaired a light switch and two wall plugs in an hour.
