  We had a small emergency... Called Ellis Electric per a recommendation from Pat with HP and they were able to squeeze us in between jobs just an hour after I called. Within 30 minutes of arriving, the issue was fixed. The secretary, Dave Ellis himself, and the tech who came out were unbelievably nice and easy to work with in person and over the phone. I will be a forever customer. Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU!

  The electricians were very nice and as far as I can see did a good job. The low score comes from the price. While the electricians were here they called the office and talked to their boss. They told him exactly what they had to do and the owner came back with a quote. When the bill came it was over twice what was quoted. We were also charged for extra trips to the office because they didn't grab enough material. As soon as it was apparent that the original quote would not be close we should have been made aware. I understand a quote is not always exact, but over double is unacceptable.

  Big storm hit Chesterton, IN last night! 9/25/18. Thanks to Ellis Electric, we already have an awesome generator! Power has been out for 22 hours but generator keeps running and our daily life hasn’t been interrupted! Huge Thank you to David & Erron Ellis! Michele Hopkins
