We contacted Ellsworth Electric for an upgrade to our panel in our home, the person that answered the telephone was very helpful and let us know that Preston was on another call but would contact us shortly. We received a return call within 24 hours. Preston walked us through what was needed for the upgrade. Preston was able to get us installed in a timely manner and we will be contacting Ellsworth Electric for all our electric services.

I send Preston a message on a Wednesday, he got right back to me, made arrangements to have him come and take a look at what needed to be done, he came on a Monday and assessed and started the job right away, said he would be back to finish the job on Tuesday came in the middle of a snow storm, he removed a fused box, replaced some K & T wiring, and added a light switch in which he didn't have to do!!! Excellent work!!! All for a very excellent price!!!

Response from the owner
Hi John, It is unfortunate that you feel this way since we value our customers opinions. We were completely transparent with you about the price as we do with all our customers. After completing a 200 amp service upgrade, the next project was to completely rewire your kitchen and add additional circuits while being up to code. While we were there working we discussed rewiring your dinning room, separating your bathroom to a dedicated circuit, running new cable for a sub panel on the opposite side of house house, completely rewire your lighting in the kitchen and dining room, remove old wiring from wall that were removed. Being an 1850's farm house with LOTS of electrical issues I explained that we may run into situations before I started the job. The last day we were there, we installed all power to the kitchen, dinning room. Ran sub panel feeder across the house, We also added new circuit, new outlet, removed lights and added a switch in your bathroom. Roughed in for outside lights, outlet and switch. We were hesitant since the walls and kitchen were not ready for electrical to be finished and turned on, but did it anyway upon your request. There is minimal work left to complete this project once walls and ceiling are finished. We feel that you were treated fairly with the amount of work that was completed.
